ya but Yoga pro has a fan.Lenovo's new Yoga pro3 uses the M chip and they got a lot of positive reviews. I was at an Apple store this morning and checked out their new Macbook with the M chip and it is quite awesome. The Surface Pro 4 is expected to come out around the end of next month and should be great.

really?Did you check LENOVO website: Yoga 3 Pro NO fan.

"The Yoga 3 pro is slimmer, lighter, and up to 3 times more responsive than its predecessor. With the new Intel® Core™ M processor, we were able to accomplish each of these engineering feats, and even make it ultra-quiet by removing the source of all that racket: the fan."

at least they are getting smaller lol
I really doubt SP4 has a Core M chip. Not enough power. High odds on Skylake imoI have a Yoga pro 1 and MS surface pro 2.
I just got the info from LENOVO website, and thought the M chip would help get ride of the fan in general.
Thanks for the info though, because I am debating on getting one for my high school kid this summer among these three M chip laptops: the new Mac book, the Lenovo Yoga 3 pro and the coming MS surface pro 4. So I will wait for the surface pro 4. Thanks.
Nah, just watched the reviews. They are not positive. It is probably only a rumor or guessing.
I also heard Core M chip is not as strong as regular one. Have you tried any of these laptop with the M chip?
I recently brought an HP but it isn't a 2 in 1. If you care anything about the quality of your laptop, you do not want to go cheap. Corners had to be cut to make laptop as cheap as they can be.I am considering an HP 2 in 1 Tablet PC--- It seems fairly cool and light which is what I need for writing, email, and wordpress stuff. I am out of the loop when it comes to new tech--- can anyone advise about these HP machines? I like the fact its cheap and very portable. All suggestions welcome. thanks!
Core M is designed to be an energy efficient chip and it's not gonna be as good as an i5 or i7. I have a laptop that has the predecessor to the Core M and it is slow as fvck. My new laptop has the i7 and there is a world of difference in speed. It is probably only a rumor or guessing.
