How's everyone doing in 2008 so far?

Up 24% so far. I only trade index options and it's been pretty easy to make money using combinations of puts and calls....seeing as how the market has been sideways since hitting the lows....

How were you able to short CDO's?

Up 130% last year. This year I am down 3% after being down as much as 10%. I am clawing my way back after a couple of bonehead trades(VMW) on the long side and (AMZN) on the short side. Losing money is hard to swallow since I have been trading for 10 years. I still feel like I am learning every day.

Why would "elitetrader" attract anything less than Elite Traders?
