was long 100 march 10 vix calls o/n, sold at 2.80 and they went to 5+ :eek:

had been holding 3-spx 1375 june puts from 24.00. for 2 months.
saw them go down to 10.00 and covered today at 28.00.
that was plain luck. i am holding rydex tempest 500 shares for long haul.

Had a great day, shorted DJI & USD/JPY for great gains. Oil Long got stopped out - only to swing back up again later.

Never mind - can't win em all.

Wonder how long it'll be before the market claims it all back off me.....

Made my first ever YM trade, shorted one contract before the afternoon "error" and was ahead to the tune of about 220 pts before it hit 12,100 and bounced hard right back up - gave back a little, but all in all, can't complain for the first trade in the contract.

The rate of change to the downside on YM was so fast and furious, it must have caught many by surprise. What was even faster was the move back up!

Crazy day - we needed the dose of reality.
