Minutes after the conclusion of Attorney General Bill Barr's testimony, Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said that he has no plans to bring special counsel Robert Mueller before the committee. "It's over," he told reporters.

Why it matters: Many questions remain about why Mueller opted not to make a decision on whether Trump obstructed justice, despite laying out extensive evidence. Senators are also interested in finding out more about why Mueller wrote a letter to Barr expressing dissatisfaction about the way his report had been characterized in the wake of Barr's March 24 summary of "principal conclusions."

President Trump said Thursday that he won't allow former White House counsel Don McGahn to testify before Congress.

"I don't think I can let him and then tell everybody else you can because especially him because he was the counsel," Trump said during a clip of a 20-minute interview aired on Fox News.

Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, last week issued a subpoena to McGahn to testify before the committee. Senate Democrats have also indicated that they want McGahn to testify before Congress as Democrats on Capitol Hill seek to follow up on Mueller's investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential race, an investigation that widened to include an inquiry into possible obstruction of justice by Trump.

Seems quite a few people think that Republicans won't have some questions of Mueller that they would like to be answered as well.

This so far from a slam dunk for the Dems it isn't even funny.

They keep deluding themselves, this time it's gonna hurt. Bigly.

Is there a point to your post other than the Republicans in the Senate are moving on but do you think if Mueller testifies in the House that they won't have a few questions that you WILL NOT like the answers to?

The only question is are the Dems smart enough to NOT bring Mueller in.
