How was this crash obvious?

Wouldn't this chart just suggest a return to the bottom of the blue channel, so around 4440? I think the OP is asking how to foretell the two huge down days, which do stand out quite a bit even on your chart. No other pattern on this chart matches this move. Each wave of selling was met with buying.
Actually that blue channel shows a perfect correction which begs for short selling

Are you sitting in cash waiting or are you underwater waiting?

Both my friend. I'm in no dire straits just yet, but my short-PUTs are all getting deep ITM which isn't exactly a healthy thing. I had been hoping for an assignment here or there, but not ALL OF THEM! lol

I can tell you one thing for sure, trading isn't ever boring!

I'm having a passionate affair with UVXY.. ... because she's paying off bigtime, 11 to 17 in 4 days!

Loving the volatility. Ignoring talking heads. Price action is everything. And Profits :D

Who did and where did you see this info? I must be missing something, or is this your private guy you follow?
yes. Private follow. He doesn't charge any money of course. But he's not 'public'. Just a secret billionnaire under the radar lol
He reshorted yesterday overnight at teh high 4300 and took another 100 ES points as he KNEW we'd go down loads.
I of course have zero idea how he does it. I just know that there are people out there who can predict the market and know exactly where we are going. I'm yet to find anything clsoe to that in my 10+ years personally. The info is out there somewhere though. I imagine it's nothing to do with charts or any 'tools' that we are aware of, at a guess

yesterdays trade (short 4299.75 and held short all day. Another huge number of points. We dropped like 140 points from there lol)

That's after closing that other chart I shared where he shorted the high for hundreds of ES points (this one:)

It was just days ago now it seems CNBC had multiple reps all talking how the bottom was in and you had to buy tech stocks now or get priced out. Interesting how much they change always, depending on how the market behaves the next day.

The lesson here is... CNBC doesn't know shit any more than a self-proclaimed psychic trying to decipher the future from tea-leaves.

So he is sharing entries in real time and then even follows up with a chart? I notice the 4300 entry happened overnight. Is he in a different time zone or just watched the markets non stop?
