How to win an argument with a Christian

Quote from I am...:

Particles spontaneously coming into, and going out of existence from nowhere? Uh, how is this not magical?

It falls under the law of special relativity in wishful liberal thinking.

It's scope of application is quite vast, and as of yet remains boundless.

Quote from peilthetraveler:

If you are an atheist, chances are you have backed at least one of these arguments. Enjoy.

The video makes an argument for the foolishness of the bible. Probably not what the author of the video or peil intended.

stu believes God is an invisible sky pixie.

LOL!!! Sounds like something a preschooler would believe...

...an "invisible sky pixie." No wonder thinking adults don't take the failed theists seriously...
Quote from stu:

You can't imagine particles out of nowhere, but you can imagine an invisible sky pixie out of nowhere?
Apparently you prefer a pretend sandwich, made contradictorily, by an imaginary Goblin for which there are no ingredients.

Quote from Wallet:

Once you come to the realization that there's something bigger than ourselves, why don't you search for the source. Mankind has been trying to answer that question, who am I, where did I come from.

There's a void there that needs to be filled, thus the search and there's a reason why that void exists today. The problem is that mankind's pride gets in the way.

The search for answers regarding existential questions doesn't have much to do with perpetuation of myths which are primarily faith based.

The point is that we do not know what happened and people implying that somehow the secrets lie in books written 1000s of years ago need to understand that such secrets were part of every civilization and the only qualificiation required to believe a particular set of myth is to be born into a particular religion.
