These links illustrate some of the differences between African American immigrants and U.S. born African Americans.
1. They're 37% more likely to have a college degree.
2. Their median annual household income is 31% higher.
3. Legal African American immigrants are 89% less likely to become incarcerated.
I can't find any single parent household rates specific to African American immigrants, but their marriage rates are much higher. So I have to assume that their single parent household rates are much lower as well.
