How to run a starup and shutdown script in Windows XP

Hello,

Doesn't anyone know how I can have Windows XP run a script at startup, and at shutdown?

In particular, I'd like this script to delete a specific file. I'll know the filename and location, so I can easily specify it in the script file.

Any suggestions?

you can use scheduled tasks therefore or you simply put the script in the startup folder
