How To Read Channels

.... sad thing about ET .... 99% BS commentary and no charts.....
 
....30 min ... trading hours....

...bounce off of 25% level... could be bullish thing.....
.... have to wait and see at the top wall....

agreed...wish i could post more ES YM futures charts but I only have an equity account. Slowly learning. channels though are probably my favorite.
 
Wow, cool! New to this thread, but good to see many are using channels as they can be a very powerful tool to the trading arsenal. You need to use channels that have quartiles, that is 5 equal distance lines between the top to the bottom of the channel or basically 4 different channels within the MAIN channel. Watch for over bought/oversold type setups (or sells and buys) in the top of the channel and bottom quartile of the channel itself. There is an art to drawing channels but there are also rules to use to drawing accurate channels which I am not going to go over.
