how to prevent location-based server redirection?

I travel around and am currently in Japan.
Whenever I access IB account management, it redirects me to the Japan website and shows Japanese (I can read but I hate reading Japanese). Same goes for Reuters.com or other websites. My browser setting is set to block location but I think servers redirect based on my IP. How can I prevent going to IB.com and reuters.com and being redirected to IB.JP.com and jp.Reuters ?
