How to not automatically transmit an order

First up thanks for reading this and thanks for your help

I am using Interactive Brokers TWS on windows 10. Ive been trading shares and options on the NYSE.

Up until today when I had an order in the order entry screen and hit submit it brought up a dialog with the order details, margin requirements and a linked Performance profile. That dialog had a transmit button to transmit the order and a cancel button.

I have been spending half my life with that dialog and now I cant get it at all!

Today when I hit the submit button it went straight through transmitted and order was filled straight away, which was not what I wanted at all.

Ive looked in the settings and straight away found where it ought to be but there are only three options:
1 Clicking submit transmits order, clicking position updates order
2 Clicking submit transmits order
3 Clicking Buy or Sell transmits order

So a) how can I get that transmit dialog back?
or b) how can I reset all my settings?

OK I found the answer - its called the order preview screen and you can re-enable it

by going to global configuration - messages
 
My order entry dialog has an "Accept" button and a "Submit" button. I'm running TWS standalone 981. "Accept" is what I always use, which puts it on the screen and gives me a transmit button for when I'm ready to pull the trigger.
 
On an unrelated note... my standing futures option orders with IB have been staying dark blue on the 1800 reopen. This has been going on for about two weeks. I have to either pause it and re-transmit or edit the price and transmit again to get it to go green. Anyone else seeing this?
