How to mention various forum members in threads

On the Big Mike forum You can mention various forum members on your threads, ie @ Big Mike.

Is there any way you can do that on ET?

BSAM, lets say I'm participating in a thread that you've never even seen before, and somebody post a reply with a question in it that I KNOW you can answer. I could post a reply like "I can't answer that but @BSAM can." By me posting that, you would get a site alert that your name had been mentioned, which when clicked, would take you to that thread. So it's a way to draw other member's attention to something you think they could help out with or be interested in.
