with suckers and mom and pop investors missing from action, it is very difficult to make money now. You are trading against the HFT and hedge fund traders, who do you think has an edge now. You might get a good trade here and there, but it is a suckers bet now. The time to make money was from 1995 to 2007.

lots of liquidity is also no good for profits. ie. es is bad for trading.
lots ofliquidity is equiv to havin a store on times square. lot of traffic but rentsd high margin low
