Is DHEA safe? I read something recently that made me wonder how it can legally be sold in health food stores. I'm not willing to use something that might shutdown my own production either. There's another product called keto-7 that was suppose to be a more refined DHEA (DHEA gets broken down to keto-7, etc). Its been on the market for yrs.
How high on the resveratrol and how does that help your test?
Gotta wonder how much of these supplements we take are even absorbed.
DHEA is a parent hormone. It has minimal impact on HPTA. I've seen bloodwork taken months after the cessation of the formestane/DHEA protocol in which free [from SBHG] test was >2000 ng/dL. I realize this is not a "natural" protocol, but it's very safe. The fact that it's a precursor makes it legal.
Keto is a redox of DHEA and cannot be bio-transformed [enzymatically or otherwise] into sex-hormones. A very good molecule, but has no impact on test.
Resveratrol has been shown to raise free-test and dramatically improve HDL/LDL ratios. There is a lot of talk that resv is not bio-available, but in fact it is highly-available, but quickly conjugated in the liver. It should be bound to HPMC as per the Sirtis 501 protocol.
