Well you can but it's mainly only a small incremental gain, people born into dysfunction have a mountain to climb and it can take several generations unless they get lucky.

Yeah, it depends on exactly how one defines 'stupid.' Stupid on an individual basis, or generational basis? On a countrywide basis? World basis? Permanently, or temporarily? Etc.

The focus of my post and quote was very shallow, nothing deep.

The two aren't mutually exclusive. One can be stubborn due to also being stupid, for example.

They also don't necessarily correlate.

IOW, One can be stubborn due to stupidity; but there may be other situations where being stubborn is the intelligent thing to do.
