OK. There is more and more NOISE about this crazy Securities Transaction Tax. So, instead of complaining here is a constructive solution...

Donate to the Security Trader's Political Action Committee... Look at the National Rifle Association. No one hassles them. Why? Because they have a POWERFUL Political Action Committe.

That was my reaction. I would prefer something a bit more proactive. But, as far as I know they are the ONLY Political Action Committee for Traders.

5200 members is a far cry from the NRA. And if 95% fail, that doesn't bode well for increasing membership significantly.
