No, I am quite sober and stand by everything I said.Quote from EricP:
Nitro,
You are pathetic. I can only hope that your repeated and inflammatory posts on this thread were after a long day of drinking. You are acting like a child.
As I pointed out in the posts above, I browsed the book in the crapper at Borders - it was a good laxative.I don't blame Vad in the least for not responding to your questions. You come on this thread and begin insulting him and his book without having ever even read the book in question.
So now my arguments are falsified because I never read this book, but you have never read the books or been a client of this guy? Are you the one that is smoking something? Are you sure you are a programmer because it is hard to believe you can think logically with that statement.I have never been a client of Vad, nor have I ever read any of his books. However, I have 'known' Vad for ~5+ years from ET and SI before that and have met him at numerous Trading Expos.
Fine, then make the trading sheets available everyday to the clients using the typical sheets that we all get from our broker/firm that show the instrument traded, the time of day, the number of shares, etc of each trade. If all those things are true, then make it available each and every day!Vad is an honest and honorable man and a consistently successful trader. I know he's consistently successful because he has not only posted a long-term audited track record, but it was signed by the broker at the small brokerage firm (Castle Securities) that he and I both used and I recall that broker telling me how good of a trader he was.
I have no idea if he is a crappy trader or not. I have no idea if you are a crappy trader or not. That is not what is at issue and again one wonders if you are able to form premises based on what you read. If you ran a chatroom or were otherwise involved in selling trading advice, I would hold you to the same standards that I am trying to get him and all other chatroom operators to come to realize. It has nothing to do with his trading, althought the fact that he does not supply these documents openly speaks volumes to me that he can't trade. If you don't like it, then that's your problem. Calling he, or I, a crappy trader doesn't make it true.
Blotters by themselves from traders are meaningless. Read that again many times. Or maybe let me put it more clearly for you:It seems to be fun for some on ET to constantly belittle or insult others. When someone 'proves' it, with blotters or audited results, the immediate response is that the 'proof' was fabricated and it not real. There is no way to 'win' these battles, and it makes little sense to fight them. In the long run, the ET community begins to realize who the quality people are on ET, and who are the clueless folks who mouth off anonymously against others with nothing to back their statements. It appears that you, nitro, are one of the latter.

The only way to verify your trading results is by your firm. PERIOD. That's why even though I recommend giving out the statements each day to the chatroom clients, the end of year audit also needs to be done.
I agree that most on ET realize who the quality people are. Included in those are not chatroom operators in my experience.
