how to edit a poll or message??

i stuffed up with a message and the poll ... how do i modify it? it says permission denied ... which is silly since i created the poll ...

Thanks for replying.

I just want to change the poll so that it is non-mutually exclusive. i.e. you can choose a multiple number of poll options rather than just one.
