How to detect huge price movement

I just found out tonight that we might be using your scanning capabilites at the firm I trade at, GreenTree. From what I've seen so far I'm very impressed and look froward to reading and learning more about this.

As far as seeing that huge move in CAMZ today, I also agree it would have been just plain lucky to get in ahead of that freight train (unless you knew something).......but in the past I know when I traded options, you could see open interest pick up quickly or lok at volitility in spoecific contracts that hinted at accumulation in the underlying issue.

Usually starts with a rumbling in my guts. I then run to the can, and 45% of the time there is a 'huge move'

Watch for significant penetration of previously strong support/resistance. The limits and stops on the other side usually give it a kicker.
