How To Delete Alerts

How do you delete alerts? I can 'show all' and change my preferences, but I can't figure out how to delete them. Or do they just auto-delete after a certain time?

If you click on the Alerts box top RH corner, then click on Alert preferences.
 
Thanks for the response. When I go to 'Preferences', it only allows me to check the alerts I want to receive. I don't see anything for deleting the alerts I've already looked at (like an e-mail where you can delete one or all). I want to receive alerts, I just don't want 15,000 of them filling up my 'Alerts" box. Maybe I'm just blind and don't see where to do that.

Interesting, most of mine are gone, just three are there.
I tried logging out and clearing browser cache but the three remain.
Maybe they go after a week.....?

Looks like they stay for 5 calendar days. @Secatu Do not worry, you will never get 15,000 of them "filling up your alert box".

No, you cannot delete them. Just filter out the ones you do not want and deal with the rest.

All alerts auto delete after 4 days.
