How to deflect friends interest in your money/trading

need to blend in.. I drive $3000 car and ride $2000 motorcycles.. and my house is definitely not the prettiest on the block and my blacktop driveway is crumbling into gravel driveway lol.
this attracts less attention, and makes you more approachable for your neighbors colleagues friends... 'cause the medium income is only so much.. have to be careful not to reveal the net worth... too many things can happen, and usually not good things lol.... even if it's not jealousy, relationships can still change... like I'd not mind sluming it on a motorcycle trip with friends with far smaller bank accounts, but they might think differently if they see mine lol.
but that doesn't prevent you from giving, because those are so scattered and can be anonymous - musical schools, education foundations, arts programs, animal shelters, volunteers for sick children, beggars on the street... btw I don't give to conventional charities, those are mostly scams - on average only 10 cents on the dollar reach the needy.
when your relationship with money changes, god really does put more gift in your hands.
- your customers and vendors will sense that you are not a nickle and dime kinda guy and they will open up more business and better terms for you;
- your investment style will be more relaxed and more relaxed risk taking usually means more profit;
- your children will pick that up as well, they will feel the plentifulness, they will be more relaxed (a huge benefit in today's environment... you know if you are a parent), and they will want to experience the joy of giving as well.
so back to OP - I'd say if you already told your friends, then might as well share the wealth lol... but going forward perhaps a bit careful about this stuff.

I don’t think it would be wise to argue with what dozu888 had to say about good karma usually coming around. Doing to others as you would have them do to you is probably another mantra worth considering. Nonetheless, I also suspect that in such situations, discernment is king.

Even the Messiah, when he recognized that the people were “seeking me…because you ate your fill of the loaves” began uttering words that ultimately drove many of them away, saying as they turned back to no longer walk with him, “This is a hard saying: who can listen to it?”

- The righteous choose their friends carefully…
- Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm.
- One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
- A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.
I have it down to that "look of being disgusted" when they ask me to train them and then I say in a low tone "things could be better", then I ask them for a grand. They stop asking. Things could be better like hitting 1,000 winning trades in a row.
It be one thing if they were sick and couldn't work with whole nine yards of wife and kids, but they the ones who go on 2 vacations a year, new cars every other years, 30k in credit cards and have the nerve to laugh at me cause I be looking at charts at 4am.
Doctors, Lawyers, grocery stores, banks, newspapers all charge for a service/product, Trading is your Business and outside of this arena are friends. Tell them you require a 150 grand wired to your bank upfront and you will teach them but zero guarantee. You are better than a degree from Harvard. If you lose them as friends, they were not ever before.
I find it better no one knows I trade, am under employed LOL.
If they ask you for a split of the profits, find new friends. If they ask you to trade with their money, tell them that you aren't licensed to do that legally. If they ask for your trade signals, give them a general idea of what you look for without giving any secrets away. You can help them out and save them from a lot of pitfalls if they decide to start trading for themselves.
In other words, they are essentially saying, "Let me profit off of your labor!" How ridiculous is that? So who is it that is really being rude? Obtaining signals requires your time and effort, so unless your time is worthless, it is a mistake to characterize the sharing of signals as "zero cost." If they wish to benefit from your time and effort, they should be willing to compensate you for it (which I suppose one might say they would be doing by "splitting the profits"). If they need help financially, they ought to seek counselling in whatever area is causing the problem. I live in America, where many if not most people live beyond their means. They purchase a brand new automobile for $50,000 when a used one for $10,000 will get them to work each day just the same. They own multiple cars, multiple television sets, pay for cable TV, signup with cellphone companies, subscribe to movie streaming services, and on and on it goes. You do not "help" them by handing them more money. Chances are, the best help they could get would be to learn to live on less, or to put in whatever effort would be necessary for them to generate more income.
I will tell you my story
I had a lot of friends before I started trading. I spent years and lost a lot of money and time.
majority of so called friends started to laugh and state I am a loser and distanced themselves from me. some gave me encouragement.
after around 8 years, I have rewarded and helped the ones that believed in me and now I have distanced myself from those so called friends.
the journey has shown me my true friends
Yes thank God for hard times, shows you your true supporters. My mom and my kids, and maybe two dudes I grew up with, that's it. Everyone else is a Johnny come lately if I show my success, so the solution is that I don't.
I agree (sort of). But even God punished Moses for not honoring Him and hallowing His name. He was prevented from entering the promised land for this.
If your friends honor and respect the effort you put in (over many years and struggles) to get the knowledge they ask you for, perhaps drop some hints, but even God expected would-be believers to solve the riddles his Son spoke on many occasions.
Even the original book on the Carnegie secret refuses to name it directly because it works better if the one receiving it has to discover it on their own!
