it may be a young culture, an atypical culture, a culture you detest (you obviously do) but it's still a culture.

personally speaking, having come from a different (eastern european) culture, i find it vastly superior. both to my own, and to anything that you'll find in the primitive trash heap called south east asia.

fairplay,can you explain how it is that the colonials [contrary to the well-mannered British in the motherland] so often resort to hate language when they don´t like what they read ? the Americans in particular seem to have enormous difficulties with handling dissent or opposition. in this context, what do you think will happen if the next Iraqi president, US-general Tommy Franks, is confronted with the allegation of being "un-Iraqi" ?

Good point on Bali.. Bali was simply minor f'ing payback (whether it was justified or not, it was MINOR... ya hear me, MINOR!!!) for the largescale Aussie terroristic rape of Indonesian oil in East Timor, including the murder of countless East Timorese..
