i like to make a 0.50 on a trade sometimes it doesn't happen in one day so i want to make at least a spread so i don't lose on the theta but any thing i check in order to make some money i need to wait a few weeks till they expire
If you are day trading options why are you concerned with theta?
If you plan on holding for weeks theta becomes a factor, that is not exactly daytrading.
So how
to make a vertical spread ?
You know day trading is directional. Are you bull or bear?
I’m not an actual day trader sometimes I take a profit the same day sometimes a wait a week or 2 or 3
Day trading with vertical spreads can be difficult because of the fills. You would need something very liquid. If using a vertical spread strategy I would stick swing trading.
