Im not sure if you know what volatility rank means. The rank does not show the most volaitile stocks but how it is compared the the last year for this single stock.

Yup, that's true. Every week night I batch generate around 500 charts and sort them by volatility rank (actually I use IV percentile). Charts with interesting patterns become swing trade candidates to add to my watchlist.
