P.S. ROTFLMAO!!!! - thanks for continuing to be the butt of everyone's jokes, Steve46!

Actually dickless, YOU are the butt of everyone's jokes.

The longer you pretend otherwise the more it amuses me and everyone else for that matter.

And you aliases, well thats what a pussy like you would do, if he couldn't take the heat.....right....you can't beat me any other way so you invent an alias and say the things you can say without getting your ass whipped....Clearly you're a coward...

Quote from Trader666:

LOLOL steve911 :p

Do you lie to yourself too? Apparently so.
LOL, +1 :D

Quote from Trader666:

The reality is that YOU got your face smeared in the feces (pathological lies) you've littered ET with.

Be a man for once in your life and stop hiding behind your lies like a coward.
He can't ... :(

No shit-for-brains, you are the current and future Champion.

Speaking of amusement, I got a good laugh out of your running all over ET today. :D

Unlike you, I have no proplem talking about my previous aliases, and MandelbrotSet is the only one that I am currently using. :)

All of those other aliases? ... they are people who hate your fucking guts. :p

And speaking of ass-whipings, I'm not the one who went "crying to daddy" (Baron). :D :D

You did.

Quote from TheBestGuruEver:

1. Explain how making 20 ES points a day is really easy, using past charts and showing where you would have bought and sold.

2. Tell everyone that everyone else likely blew up trading because they are dumb, and not following your method

3. Explain how trading is hard, yet easy, and will let you live the life you wanted.

4. Tell them you spent 10,000 hours looking at charts, and that must be worth something.

5. Tell them you don't like systems, yet your simple way of trading is like a system and can be used to trade anything on any time frame.

6. Give them guarantees on your performance, but make it very hard to really understand so you win no matter what.

7. Tell them you have traded everything and have tons of money, but really only teach because you like people.

8. Make them think your special cost will run out very soon and you will never offer this crap every again.

9. Tell them you will teach them stuff nobody has every taught them, and it will be 10 hours of some of the best stuff they ever seen -- totally new!!

10. Most important: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER show them an audited Profit and Loss statement for the last year or more. Tell them how un-important making money really is, since they won't have the exact losses, errr..i mean wins... as you. Make it seem like you don't really need the money, but keep begging... err..asking.. for their money. Then use their money to open up a trading account.

LOL

-------------------------------

If you think some clown on the internet can teach you how to trade, you might as well send me 10,000 immediately.

There is a reason prop traders from Goldman don't sit around and market their skills.

LOL

11- Don't start shitting in your marketing turf, before you actually begin peddling your useless services for cash.

Ivanovich, it appears that the most obvious violation of the TOS is by the thread starter himself, who was previously steve46 and is now stevesbg. Furthermore, upon further examination it appears that this user also throws profanity and insults around more often than just about anybody. I appreciate the thread starter using this feedback thread to bring his own violations, and therefore the need to ban of all his usernames, to our attention.

Case Closed :D

LMAZO. Back to boiling my daily cup of white rice.

Don't forget this good example (but I don't know what you would call it from JackH):

Have you ever got any early assignments?

If not, why/how?

If yes, how often, how many times so far, and/or how many per year on average?

TIA!
----------------------------------

You are asking all the wrong questions.

How many times per year? If I say '6,' what does that tell you?

And I just love your first question. You want to know WHY we have NOT received early assignment notices. As dumb as that question is, I have the reply: Because most option owners are not ignorant and they do not exercise early.

Quote from Trader666:

The Jack Hershey Method of Gurudom has proven effective for over a decade:

1. Seek out locations like ET that are teeming with newbies and wannabees who have a desperate need to believe

2. Troll for followers with grandiose claims, both trading and personal

3. Peddle an incomprehensible "method" with its own jargon that can only can be learned from you or one of your stooges

4. Speak in riddles and gibberish to keep followers hanging on your every word and believing their lack of success is because they didn't grasp the full meaning of your "wisdom." This also makes the "method" nearly impossible to backtest... but if you do mistakenly state something clearly enough for others to test it, attack backtesting and whoever ran the tests

5. Constantly berate the "conventional wisdom" and "detractors"

6. Make up success stories about followers who were willing to "do the work" -- even if in reality they went down in flames

7. Never, ever do live trading or show any proof of success (because there is none)

8. Foster a cult-like atmosphere

9. Keep things fresh by promising new things on the horizon that will never materialize, like books and automated trading platforms

10. Find someone to support you so you can play pied piper full time

11. See the example below:

My experience on ET has been: There is one simple way we can test some so-called Gurus.

We may try to post or make up any statement that is subtle but in reality it doesn't make much sense or even in fact it is actually wrong.

However some gurus would most often never miss this golden oppportunity in order to show off that he knows all things and owns every piece of knowledge in trading through responding to that statement with a serious manner.

It's fun after all!

PS: Don't use this same method every time!
PPS: No copyright reserved, Yet! :D

Furthermore, the Gurus may even call themselves somehow Managers, rather than merely Traders (aka: An inferior group of ET posters who might be wealthy but fairly incapable and uneducated). LOL. :D

Quote from dagnyt:

Interesting point of view. A trader's point of view - and a very good diea for anyone who considers himself to be a trader.

I am not a trader. I am a money manager and a risk manager.

I open positions and let the profits take care of themselves. My job is to make sure risk stays in line and that losses are not allowed to get out of control. As I said, making money is easy - the tough job is to keep losses at acceptable levels.

Once those posiitons are on, my job is not that of a trader, but that of a risk manager. I'm going to make lots of money from my positions, unless something bad happens.
