How the World might look like in 2017?

Europe is bureaucracy gone barmy. Loads of pen pushers doing next to nothing for the group. For instance there are 2 Parliament complexes with all the support staff, buildings etc. Why 2 ? It's jobs for the boys.
Yes the EU won't reform themselves and will pay a heavy price. Another instance is needing a unanimous majority of the states to do anything plus an ineffective Parliament. Designed by morons I regret to say.

Yeah man, you are absolutely correct, in the 21 century any country has to be flexible and fast, unfortunately, for Europe, it's not possible. Tons of bureaucrats are slowing the progress, or at best just doing nothing in their cabinets.

The U.S. is a completely different case, we are more flexible compared to Europe. The American people have an entruprinorial spirit, the U.S. will be on the top for centuries, because the people here have this sort of mentality. Europe? No, the people there are completely different from state to state.

The US system is no better. It is hard to get anything done too. Designed in the 18th century and hard to reform. Was it Thomas Jefferson who thought it had been designed deliberately in gridlock or something similar?

yes, we like gridlock. Everytime something gets done life gets worse for us poor slobs who pay for it. The only thing that ever got done was when the democrats controlled congress and the Whithouse, and that was ACA. And I doubt you will hear much about it, but that is what I will be watching in 2017.
