all I know was, I was watching CNBC really late, and Pelosi and Reid look like the women in those ADT commercials. People in the know, I mean in the KNOW, were scared shitless. You guys can argue how much, when, where, who. What I do know is, what Kanjorski said happened. And it was frightening.
It is insignificant, truly, about the exact amounts in MM. Doesn't matter. That's for guys like Geitner and Greenspan. BTW, how's that working out? What does matter is Congress was briefed on WHAT was happening, briefed on what COULD happen, and told it was unstoppable. The same briefing was given on the financials about the same time. The bear raids were UNSTOPPABLE. What we can ascertain is, the economic situation is horribly out of control. Now, let's extrapolate. No matter what O'Bama's minions do, they will not make a difference. (they might. they'll spin us out of control much sooner by wasting another several trillion. I don't have kids. You guys worry about that). It works itself out on its own (translation, healing/time/pain), or it doesn't . That's how I'll approach it. You get your sliderule out. Chances are, you'll have to boil it and eat it.

I'm starting to become of the opinion that it's not that these guys are lost for an answer to the problem, it's that they know the problem has no solution. At least not one that doesn't come without a great deal of pain, much more pain than we're being told. The "best and the brightest" really screwed the pooch this time.
Bingo. You're absolutely correct. They also know the FEDS are all over. You can't really hide FBI agents asking questions, serving subpoenas, looking at records for too long. And when you see the faces on TV; They look different, don't they? What did Geitner say? Basically, it was, "I'll get back to you."
Talking to Dr. Byrne a while back. He knows them all. He's been talking to them for three years. His opinion at least was one time that they fooled around, and opened Pandora's Box. They never saw it going this far, and now, it's unstoppable. I think anyone who really can see the truth realizes it is just unstoppable. How many times have people said the banks are insolvent? But no one really addresses it. They are going t o bail them out. There isn't enough money. And they all know it.
