How the Affordable Care Act raises prices and limits medical choices.

Quote from Ricter:

...And if you (not you) don't like subsidizing masses of poor people, don't have masses of poor people. It's not like there's a currency shortage.
Despite the severity of the term, by "poor" the government understands the bottom 15-20% of the population, reported-income-wise. Our poor are considered wealthy in some other countries. They'll always be with us.

Ah yes, the profound stupidity of Ricter on display again. It's not like the poor aren't already milking the system with welfare, section-8 housing, Medicaid, free phone's, free tuition and whatever new entitlement crops up...Now, we should just deposit that money right into their accounts...no more poor people...err, until we experience hyper-inflation from all of that money finding these "poor people".

Ricter, you clearly don't belong in the first world...the more I read your ridiculous bullshit, it's clear that you belong as an economic advisor in a third world hellhole. I suggest you tell your father-in-law that your talents are being wasted collecting handouts from him and you immediately catch a flight to the Southern hemisphere...

And keep Krugger posted on your progress.

Then that raises the question of why any of us care about our poor, since they're not really poor.

Ummm, the poor keep having kids they cannot support ... financially or emotionally. Ever notice that those who try to live within (middle class and above) their means make informed decisions on whether to have another kid. But those who are poor often have sex for the hell of it .. and whoops ... I'm pregnant. And all of us responsible people pay for the birth of their kids and then pay for them via Medicaid, Section 8 housing, food stamps, etc. etc.

Odumbo cares because he can steal $$$ (i.e. wealth redistribution) from those who are better off to subsidize the poor he cares about. Same with most other Democrats. But he never calls out the poor and asks them to make responsible decisions, like not having kids they can't support.

A major campaign bundler for President Barack Obama is betting on the failure of one of the top federal contractors responsible for the disastrous rollout of the website for the federal government’s insurance marketplace.

James Chanos made his fortune by short-selling companies before the value of their stock plummeted, most notably the defunct energy firm Enron.

His latest target is CGI Group, which is the parent company of CGI Federal. CGI Federal is the lead contractor responsible for Healthcare.gov, the glitch-plagued website of the federal Obamacare insurance exchange...

To be fair - CGI is failing in many other government contracts around the world, not only on the healthcare.gov website. The Obamacare site, of course, is the most visible failure.

This is a good short bet - I expect after the healthcare.gov media exposure that many future government contracts will go to alternative vendors and CGI's revenue will fall - not to mention all the penalties/cancellations they are racking up on their current projects.
