How Tea Party tax cuts are turning Kansas into a smoking ruin

They ignore extensive evidence of what — in fact — drives economic growth and stability and can deliver improvements in living standards.

Instead, they reflect supply-side economics, as trumpeted by Arthur Laffer, who was a paid consultant for the Brownback plan and a volunteer cheerleader for the Trump tax cuts. Laffer’s theory of growth has been a foundation for economic policies since the 1980s.
Of course they ignore the evidence. Supply side is faith-based, as it always will be.

  • Agriculture is the largest economic driver in Kansas, valued at nearly $67.5 billion, accounting for 44.5 percent of the state's total economy.

Keep taxes the same, lower the taxes or raise that taxes. It will not effect the big picture in Kansas. However, if ag went to the moon during the time he was governor, the economy would have done great.

Agriculture is the number one driver of the economy in Kansas not the tax rate.

Right the economy does not drive off tax cuts. Tax cuts are stimulated gimmick.

True tax reform is different. What Kansas and Trump did was a gimmick.

Well, well.. looks like Kansas legislature is discussing plans to purge people who don't support their views from the state by any means necessary, including running them over and/or taking up arms.
