How soon will metooxx drop from the top 15?

I don't think Don can chew gum and talk at the same time. LOL.

Unique individual.

Did you see him knocking SLPs the other day? Bet they are using them in 3 months or so ...

I thought he said he had something better. But it's secret. :D

Well he is producing huge returns with a lot of excessive volatility. No shortage of either.

I seem to remember seeing his equity chart resently; he had a nasty drawdown that he has since recovered from. From what I remember he didn't get a lot of redemptions though; must be his or family money to stick it out ...

Yeah he had a 40% drawdown but it made it all back in a few months. Hey, you said you wanted volatility. LOL. He made just shy of 100% his first year and he's up 20% so far this year. Not too shabby.

Sure he does.

He might want to read the footnotes of the SEC letter; hint, the part about conversions ...

I hear he might be adding slot machines to his office.

I didn't say I wanted, I said I would accept. Our volitility is daily not quarterly typically.

I think he does a good job; but your typical instituition doesn't have the stomach for a 40% drawdown. I think he will have a slow climb to critical mass; i.e. $100 milion + under management ...

Yeah but look at how little he started with. Sometimes the best time to get into those funds is in those early years. The returns start to fall off every 25 million you go up.

He is a charactor. I was at the CBOE for lunch on Wednesday; heard their Chicago office was no longer the brightest star in the sky ...

For the investor yes; but the manager wants assets.

I do a lot of VWAP presentations to asset managers. They are getting just 1% and expenses.

I always leave those meetings feeling sorry for those guys; 1% on $50 billion, that is only $500 million for delivering index returns. But at least the clients pay their expenses; and lets not forget the soft dollars that pay the expenses again ...
