Of course he won't. Not because futures trading is not scalable but because you sound like someone who has never traded real money.
No point in classing those who can do it as idiots , if you haven't figured it out .....why say it is not possible.
The Euro usd has a intraday movement of almost 6 % daily , and you can't make 0.1 % of that volatility * leverage of 100 = 1 % daily profit.
Be humble and admit you are not a champion , and you have yet to figure out how to do it consistently.This does not mean you not profitable as a trader , some people regard you highly.
The guy who can do it is bored with the earthlings!
A $50K futures account can trade five (5) emini contracts at $10,000 cushion each. I'd personally trade more than that, but to each their own.
A five-lot NQ position using -5 point stop is risking -$500 per trade. -1% of account balance at risk per trade. Is that out of line, somehow?
A skilled trader can work five contracts in, seeking to double size when first position reaches +5pts in favor and add the second 5-lot. Catch a +12.5 point move from blended entry on 10-lot is $2,500 gain, never risking more than -$500 of capital at any time.
There is a helluva lot more to successful emini trading than ever passes thru any message board, including this one. I've been here for six years and have never seen one iota of real strategic trading strats discussed. Just a lot of "I'm in here and out there" rhetoric which has nothing to do with anything about professional emini trading

A Battle of the Titans. Maybe you're both right. If someone trades off of tick charts, that probably isn't scalable. The larger the timeframe, the more scalable. Refer to Marty Schwartz when he tried to start a hedge fund.

To the OP: Some people (a handful maybe?) can do it at will... I just did it yesterday using the equivalent of a $25,000 account and no more. Maximum position was 300 SPY...made more than $500 net...just to see "if I still had it" and to "show off"... Scaling it up to make $5,000 per day or $50,000 per day is about the same difficulty...problems come at higher sizes... problems that are never discussed in public....it is much much harder...till it becomes impossible... and there are many much easier ways to make bigger % per year money trading than scalping... Acquire certain skills and you can make 25% a year in your sleep, basically with less than 5% drawdowns... after a while you can raise billions and can take a risk-free cut for yourself...etc. There's more money chasing true talent, than there's talent chasing money...
You will not learn overnight. If I had to do it over, would become a politician instead...

It is so <del>fuckin</del> easy when you know how to do it.Everything is do-able including scalability , just figure it out in portions.
