another reason I am opposed to a national sales tax is many states rely on the sales tax for their revenue and it is already set at the upper limits the states economy can survive. My state is 6.5%, that's enough. If you want more from me you can get it from my income.
if the dems would let me eliminate corp and cap gains tax (not reduce, but eliminate since that is where most of the corruption in our government resides) I would gladly treat everything as ordinary income and implement a very high progressive income tax.
