US strikes hit 3 radar sites in Yemen, Pentagon says

(CNN)Three US strikes hit radar sites in Yemen early Thursday, hours after missiles targeted a US warship in the Red Sea, the Pentagon said.
"The strikes were carried out in "self defense," the Pentagon said.
They came after missiles targeted the USS Mason off the coast of Yemen on Sunday and again Wednesday -- but missed it and hit the water instead. Two missiles were launched within 60 minutes of each other on Sunday when the warship was in international waters.
The guided-missile destroyer deployed defensive measures and was not damaged, said Capt. Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman.
The ship was fired on again Wednesday while conducting routine operations in international waters off the Red Sea coast of Yemen, according to the Pentagon.
"The USS Mason conducts formation exercises with Navy patrol crafts in September.
The missiles were fired from Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen, according to Davis. The Houthis are a minority Shia group that has taken control of much of Yemen, including the capital.
Houthi rebels denied that their forces targeted the US warship in both incidents.
Tomahawk cruise missiles
"The ship employed defensive countermeasures, and the missile did not reach USS Mason," Pentagon Press Secretary Peter Cook said of Wednesday's incident.
"There was no damage to the ship or its crew. USS Mason will continue its operations."
The three sites targeted Thursday were in remote areas with little risk of civilian casualties or collateral damage, a US official said. All the sites are in Houthi-controlled territory.
The destroyer USS Nitze launched the Tomahawk cruise missiles targeting the coastal radar sites. Initial assessments indicate all three targets were destroyed, the official said."

In American political and economic history, there was virtually zero "Leftism" until about 1906.. T. Roosevelt's time.

Personally, I believe Trump is our last hope. If Hellary is declared victor (note I didn't say "wins the election")... we'll be left with 2 choices. (1) Kneel down to be beheaded...either literally by illegal muslim jihadi immigrants or figuratively by Hellary's Lefty political dominance... or (2) gather up all of our guns and engage in a bloody war to eradicate the Leftists. (The last time we had a "war of independence" it was America vs England's King George III. This time it would be "American patriots vs our own greedy, power-hungry elitist Lefty government.")
I'm to old to have to endure either. I didn't work my entire life and pay $Millions in taxes to be forced into having to put up with this crap! So... hoping for a Trump win!
