A sacrifice would not be a sacrifice if it was done for personal gain, but im convinced the need to fight will drecrease proportionally with the amount of freedom that exist in various countries, there is no doubt that if country A introduces 3 year mandatory military service, country B will likely respond and odds of a conflict goes up, introduction of force always increases the odds of a conflict wether its on this or that dimension, would the current washington bickering and level of mutual hostility be lower or higher if the democrats did not want to introduce mandatory healthcare? action reaction, force always leads to war.

The Haves (productive) let the non-Haves(anyone on govt cheese) get away with murder.
What we have is personal and corporate welfare. Fuck Bank of America. And fuck 5th generation welfare recipients. And fuck illegal alien demanding not only in state tuition rates but govt loans too.
But I(us) allowed it by not cutting these roaches off at the pass and challenging them when they began their push.

Only a citizen(s) of the true Republic can solve this. But now the State has been empowered by those taking the cheese to ALREADY try and take 50% of my keep through: sales, property, gas, utilities, city, county, state, federal, and death taxes.
I have to employ "criminal" means to keep my property. Of course it is the same methodology the bureaucrats use to keep theirs but that is incidental since they have the moral high ground because they're helping the "poor" "children" "environment" "the global village"

What? The employee HAS to give 3-months notice to quit? Even if his boss and company become insulting, abusive, unbearable?
Actually I had to google the issue to double check... if the boss or company becomes abusive, the situation is special, I don't know he's supposed to go back to work and what happens if he doesn't, but the employee will most likely go to the labour court and get quite a bit of money out of it. A couple of years ago in Lyon, the labour court cases were ruled 80% in favour of the employees if I recall properly, and employees sending their boss to the labour court are plaguing the french labour market. Sometimes even nannies sue their employer ?!?
If an employee becomes abusive or insulting or stops coming to work, one still be very careful over the form to fire him, or the employer could well be fined in labour court.
Besides in the case of no particular beef between the employee and the company, like when the employee wants to move to a better paying job or simply stop working, the duration of the advance notice depends on his line of work and his position. Most of the time for low level employees it appears to be 1 month and 3 months for executives. In Investment Banking, as previously mentionned, if the employee gets a better job offer at another bank, he will give his advance notice 3 months ahead but will be asked to leave the office about immediately, before enjoying 3 month full paid vacation by the former employer, not yet allowed to work for his new company. Happenned to a couple of friends of mine who enjoyed it quite a bit.
