Re: Successful Trader

Making enough to cover expenses and build capital may not sound so successful if 5K a month would do it. In sports, a successful athlete would be someone who plays in the big league and receives big league salary. A guy on the bench of any NBA team, doesn't have to be a starter, is successful imo for example. In trading, what would the salary for the non-starters look like at Maverick74's Chicago firms or at Bright Trading's firm? Is garachen's range typical? Anyone with knowledge want to throw out some numbers?

PS: $1250 is very reasonable. I wouldn't mind attending just to observe the mindset of the other traders, successful and not successful. Does $1250 include a free ride from the airport in Don's car?

Last year I paid out between 200-400k per person. Split between base salary and profit sharing. It's maybe a little higher that the typical trading company but not as high as it would be it they forwent the base salary option.
This isn't what I pay starting out. I start quite low until they can prove they are on track for 1m a year.

Quote from Don Bright:
The 4 day class (5th day optional) is $1250. You can return as often as you like (each class is different, responding to current market conditions etc.)
