There are so many polls on how much a trader makes, I thought it's time to address the other end of the equation.

How much did you (your household) spend last year?

more than i should..... but not as much i would like.

I spent 83,525 in cash last year (i keep track of every daily purchase i make) But I also bought a house, so 30k of that is downpayment. If i count the incentives the builder gave me that i used for closing costs, then right around 95k i spent last year.

On normal years though I try to spend under 40k.
