Actually, yes. Generally when people make a breakthrough they stop hanging out with their loser buddies and start hanging out with other go getters. You are the average of your peer group.

Actually this forum and the whole internet cater to vastly different socio economic groups.
I had an 88 900 Turbo (first car) the trannies are fragile across all years, but otherwise a really fun car.
Proper SAAB bucklist,tick, bit of work to do, run her to bored then Alfa which will be slower but prettier.
Love a proper 900 Turbo but none around or big money.
