actually i tried hard.
i tried many online options calculators, from Optionistics to many others,
but seem very imprecise.
i read many books on options, last one i am chewing through is
Taleb: Dynamic Hedging.
its not easy for me.

so dont be an asshole, i asked for help,
if you got nothing to offer,
then better be quiet.

brokerage i use is SaxoBank and my software is SaxoTrader.
there is no position analyser :(

AND if it really takes just 5 minutes with Position Analyser,
i thought someone who has such a software can do that for me and help.

Im pretty sure you can open a td ameritrade tos account from europe.

well, i dont think so. it is possible only for Luxebourg and UK. there has been some legislative change few years ago and it is no more possible. i dunno why :(((

please how did you do it ? i tried heavily but no success. i am from Slovakia. did u use some proxy account ? or is there some European broker that offers TOS ?

i always wanted TOS platform, but its evading me !!!

I just filled out the application form saying citizenship and place of birth was Slovakia and had no problems.

The only thing is you have to print out the form, sign it and mail it all the way to US.
 
well i filled the application, and it said i am not eligible :(
haha how is this possible ?
i alaso just called TD Ameritrade, and they said it is not possible,
but tommorrow after MLK day there will be more people there at the desk and the lady said we might find a way around...

Again, this thread is disturbing on so many levels. If you're not able to figure out how to download one of lets say a dozen free software programs that will give you a position analyzer, or open an account at TD Ameritrade that allows international accounts then why are you trading options?

I'm not being a smart ass, I'm perhaps giving you a kick in the ass in a positive way. :) It's just a wake up call. Option trading is for the mathematically inclined, and for the independent thinkers. There is a lot you'll have to manage on your own to be successful.

If you can't manage an account application, or a 2 minute Google search for trading software, I'm quite sure you won't be able to manage your gamma position on those options you somehow opened at a brokerage house so ghetto they allowed you to open them but don't have any trading software for you to see the positions...
