How much can I make a day with 2k$ ?

Hello, I'm new to trading.
Been reading and learning about it for a while, and now I want to play for real.

Right now I have 2k$ available money for investment. (Yeah I know it's nothing, but I'm 20 years old, so that's what I have for now)

Lets say in a good day, how much profit can that produce me ? like 200-250$ max ?

I'm sorry for the silly question and I know its not something predictable .
 
$2k can easily disappear.

It's unusual for experienced traders to have +10% days, so $200 per day is optimistic, although possible.

If you risked $50 per trade and over 10 trades you had 4 winners, 2 scratches and 4 losers, with a 1:2 risk:reward you could make $200.

How many trades you do and how much you risk should depend on your method.

What is your instrument, timeframe and method?
 
Depends if you will just be using Cash value or leverage. If you are using leverage, you make make a lot more, but you can also lose a lot more.
 
If your a really good trader who can consistently make 20% a year.


$2,000 x 20% = $400 / 252 trading days in a year = $1.59.
 
I have a friend who wants to perform heart surgeries. He's read a few books and watched some medical shows but he's new to the whole area of medicine.

How many successful surgeries do you think he can perform in his first month?

start reading the Straight line threads and trade the NQ. If you show that you want to do the hard work, the people on that thread will push u in the right direction when needed.

Lots of good info in all of the stright line threads. with 2k you can trade 2 contracts at MB trading. IF you are good at trading you can easily double your account in a couple months.

I wouldnt listen to the people that say you will only earn 20% a year, last month I made 65% on my deposit. Leverage is a must however, and futures lets you have plenty of it with no daytrading restrictions.
