Also, if you have ever played online games then you'd know there is a huge difference between 5ms and 100ms -- it's definitely noticeable.

i was told to check the baud rate of the . . . . .
as computer manufacturers ship computers with the . . . . . baud rate set at 300 for
dialup, and the 300 should be changed to 1500 for cable etc
