How mobile phones let spies see our every move, This covers EVERYTHING

Quote from asiaprop:

Buddy, dont turn my words around. I said that I think its ok that in the pursuit to stop crimes sometimes innocent people are getting in between investigators' praying eyes and the actual sought after criminals. Nobody is declared guilty because he for whatever reason became part of an investigation until a law court declared someone guilty.

You can turn it as much as you like but my opinion stands against yours. For you it seems privacy is your god, for me its that government stops filth, drugs, crimes, and terrorism to swamp each and every corner of our lives. If during that process someone taps my phone, reads my email then so be it, I have nothing to hide, DO YOU?

So what's wrong with the system we HAD.

What's wrong with going in front of a judge and asking for a warrant. Even a wide sweeping warrant.

Current patriot bill does not require reason for surveillance. Quite frankly you are out of the loop if you think American people or any other people trust their government.

Not after 9/11 that's for sure.

my friend, you are changing the subject the whole time and you have not presented any facts at all so far. Fact is the surveillance system DID NOT WORK, otherwise why did we have attacks in Madrid, in New York, in D.C., in London, among the thriving drug and human trafficing, the flourishing child pornography on the net and countless other things. Because the filth is hiding behind some privacy protection laws while the majority suffers from the consequences. So, please dont sell your privacy crap as something that worked, nothing worked, we are in this current mess because surveillance has not been taken seriously. Another example is laundered and untaxed money in the Swiss financial system for the precise reason that Switzerland has abused the term "privacy" for its own monetary purposes at the expense of EVERY OTHER COUNTRY and its citizens. Get my point?

You are changing topic, that is so visible.

First you support greater spy technology and warrantless surveillance

then you say it doesn't work

what exactly are you saying here, come on Shill you can do better job at making sense.

I said the surveillance system we had in place (globally) pre Sep11 did not work at all. Additionally privacy laws and all the crap that comes along with that protected the real crooks not the innocent. A big change is in place and I claimed I rather take into account the possibility one or the other innocent gets between the wheels than having the mass terrorized by a few who know how to hide.

I think you get my point very clearly you just love to twist things around. I made my point and stand to it, nothing to add at this point.

But seriously, I am getting sick of this civil liberty BS, if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear of being investigated.

Let me quote you above directly so that there is no bull here.

You believe that by handing over (and we already did) all privacy to government agencies.

We will be safer and better.

Correct YES or NO ?

you are an IDIOT, seriously. Not only do you not seem to be able to read. You also change others statements.

I said countless times that if I for whatever reason become the subject of an investigation that targets someone else but for whatever reason I am dragged into it then I have no problem with that because I have nothing to hide. I still believe this serves a higher purpose. No democratically elected government spends millions on equipment and manpower to spy on people for fun. If you believe that then we should end this discussion because there is no chance to reconcile our views.

Why do you LIE when it is shown on bottom of Page 2 of this thread

"But seriously, I am getting sick of this civil liberty BS, if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear of being investigated"

You are saying that we should move to Guilty until proven innocent

We are guilty if we demand privacy, and we are innocent if we allow 24/7 database and movement tracking.

Why don't you respond Asiaprop ? Where are you Mr I support Goldman Sachs actions mandate and everything in between LOL

lol, you should let stand what people say instead of interpreting what you think others said (which you are anyway incapable of). I guess you may have trouble comprehending this but its a very basic concept actually.

Seems you have not read anything I wrote as you seem to not even get the most basic points I tried to bring across. Kind of sad...

I am starting to admire your talent of obfuscation.

Notice how instead of responding to your quote on bottom of page 2 of this thread.

You come back with Paragraph that says NOTHING at all
