How many traders take screenshots of their charts?

The real question would be, why would a trader take a screen shot of his charts?

My reason is to save time, frozen.. so I can go back and look at my analysis prior to the imminent move.

A minimum of 3 per day as my standard trading log/journal. Additionally, I take extra screenshots of other patterns I track when they show up and add them to my catalogue/database.

The problem with screenshots of your setups is this is the easiest game in the world when you have the full picture.

But when we trade we don't (at the time of execution) have the full picture, ie THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE CHART.

So it's better to 2 screenshots, the first at the time of the trade (no right hand side) and the second with the subsequent right hand side of the action.

Doing it this way is far superior than just the one chart (with the right hand side action).

Bingo.

In fact, a screenshot at the time of the trade (within a few minutes) versus a screenshot at the end of the trading day...they are completely different screenshots but the latter a common favourite of those doing hindsight analysis...it looks so much prettier that way.

This distinction in studying / documenting / reviewing your charts is a critical aspect of self-learning and explaining to others your trade methodology.

Then I add text, to illustrate entry setups

Instead of screenshots,
I do video record the session.
It’s handy if something happens,
To show either to yourself or the broker.

what program do you use to video record?

I use OBS Studio.
It’s free and does the job.
It gets heavy on resources after 8+ hours.
Don’t know where the load comes from though.
