How many take to drinking?

Quote from youngtrader:

Amazing how im not the only one in this camp! After the markets close I grab a 18 pack of coors light and drink till I go to bed. However during this time I also do research for my current positions and other research to prepare me for the next trading day. I also crank up the country music and watch king of the hill! :D

For me its just a good way to relax after the trading day, everybody handles the stress of this job differently.

Ditto...except my beverage of choice is Dos Equis or Shiner Bock (brewed in TX baby!). I drink enough in one day to make most woozy for a four day weekend, but I'm 100% Texan, and all German heritage, so don't be a pussy and drink up...the darker beer the better!

Don't worry I won't hold being german against you man (75% irish and I don't claim the other 25% lol)

Beer is delicious but it makes you fat and slow. Drink red wine instead, heart healthy, keeps your weight in check and still gets you drunk!

my friends would have a field day with me if they caught me drinking wine lol! needless to say im origionally from iowa and grew up on cheap beer (busch, pabst, etc)........just recently moved up to the good expensive stuff like coors and bud light lol. Im living fancy now! :D

Neat. VS in the morning, VSOP in the afternoon and XO in the evening....in moderation, of course.

Hmmm, never traded any of these symbols. By "moderation", would you trade, say 500 shares?

:D

Real friends won't judge, plus it's not like your drinking O'Douls :D

Plus, beer ages you FAST. After ~22 yrs old, beer just takes a hold and people get ugly and fat real quick

The modern outlook on alcohol is all wrong.

Churchill greeted each day of his adult life with a Johnny Walker Red and water. I myself am old enough to remember the 2 martini lunch.

It was kinda fun actually. :D

When my paternal grandparents traveled one of their pieces of luggage was a very complete and elaborate bar. They would have a couple of cocktails and some cheese/crackers or sardines or something before going to dinner. No big deal back then.

I'm not sure a bottle of red wine over 4-5 hours is all that bad for you. :)
