How many stocks do you watch

nice setup nitro. i get 120 symbols on three flats, though.:D no almonds, though. once in a while, sunflower seeds or popcorn.

im thinking of reworking the whole layout....paring back the list...

If TS didn't crash, or if I could find something that I felt as comfortable with, I would have even more symbols -

Three flats are plenty - it all depends on the style of trading...

It's even worse when they're talking to each other about you... but I wasn't supposed to say anything about that... now they're going to be mad at me... but I had to tell you... I saw QLGC talking to FMKT today... I didn't even know they knew each other! And they were both lookingat me kind of sideways, y'know? Though just in case, I stopped putting the trendlines on, cuz I think the stocks can feel them on the way through, and that's when things reverse... but only when I've entered the other way... so that's why no more trendlines! I watch and trade the same ones every day with an occasional change. 9 Nasdaq, 2 NYSE, and QQQ. I may add a couple of more before too long, but I think that will probably max me out.
 
Re: TradeStation Limitations for scanning... I had the global server using esignal (satelite real time) running on a dell precision 530MT dual xeon (2x 1.7GHZ) with affinities set to both processors -- its uses about 2% of available CPU Usage. I was scanning about 16,000 instruments in real time across markets... the system never crashed over the course of about 9 monts.
