How many nukes are we going to let NK build before we take them out?

Lucrum,

Who do you think is the bigger pussy...

1) Obama: who is willing to negotiate with almost anyone?

Or

2) Cheney: who was deferred from military service five times and was a neo-con nevertheless?

So Obama or Cheney?

You know you do refer to drinking and being drunk quite a bit. Is that on purpose? Is that a redneck Tennessee thing or just a personal vice?
Yes it's on purpose.

Based entirely on YOUR chosen alias and YOUR BS comments.

Isn't is more likely the little weasel is just being naughty so that the USA will give him some more money to just knock it off?

That's what I'm saying, time to blow the palace, no nukes needed for that btw, just a few of those thingies they tossed at Saddam's houses, that worked once, it could do the trick and the world would forget it like Michael Jackson's death, I'd give it about three days in the news and the little commie bastard [Kim Jong Dong, not Jackson] would be a footnote in history...

Quote from peilthetraveler:

Yeah, just like 1 bomb dropped on a building worked with Saddam hussien right? Oh thats right...it took 1000s of bombs and how long was it to find him cowering in a hole? Quite a bit of time if i remember. And you know what? Japan is asia, yet people still live there. Do you remember how Japan dropped hundreds of bombs on Pearl harbor. They thought that many bombs would stop us...what did we do? we dropped 2 bombs....thats it...just 2. They surrendered quickly after that.

I dont trust the military intelligence to find a specific restaurant or nightclub that kim jong il might be in. Better to just drop a nuke and know you got him and his generals.

Radiation isnt a problem really. You are thinking nukes give off radiation like chernobyl, but they dont. The government set off plenty of nukes 100 miles away from vegas and people still live there ok.

Saddam is a bad example - is that all you can come up with? You forgot one fact - Saddam was given a warning that we were going to bomb him - so we gave him plenty of time to hide.

If we chose to take out Kim - I don't think we would warn him. The tough part is maintaining some sort of order in that country afterwards. Haven't you learned anything from Iraq?

Your argument that using nukes is not so bad is very weak. Using nukes establishes a dangerous precedent, does environmental damage, would further damage the infrastructure of the country causing a refugee crisis into S Korea. And on and on... Just think of the possible unintended consequences... and you realize you create more problems than you had to.

Let me guess, after dropping a nuke on N Korea - the N Koreans will greet us as "liberators" huh?

I'm glad your fingers aren't near the button.

He'd be luck if it was only "drinking". :D

He's been under psychiatric evaluation at Bellevue Hospital in NYC for quite some time . . . every now and then he slips out in his white robe into the lobby and sits down at the public computer and logs onto ET, telling anyone that will listen that George Bush was a GREAT president!

Quote from adrock1795:

Im not a fan of the former administrations foreign policy, but Obama needs to take some advice from Bush and Cheney. When we invaded Iraq on speculation of their WMD, all these rogue nations like Libya, Iran, Syria, NK were scared shittless that they could be next.

Obama has come in spouting of friendly diplomacy, no more senseless wars and North Korea has taken advantage of this and are gaining more and more leverage. NK has gone from keeping their activities secret to announcing what they've done and what they will do and coincidentally on US holidays.

As Machiavelli said, being feared is a better tool then being loved.

You conveniently ignore the FACT that there were numerous missile launches by North Korea while Bush was in office . . . and also around major US Holidays.

You conveniently ignore the FACT that I DON'T think Bush was a great president.

Did you also conveniently forget you were going to stay out of P&R for the rest of the year?

Labia82 = egotistical giant, mental midget.

Funny that Obama was supposed to be so weak but Korea is begging for diplomacy with the US after Obama repeatedly called their bluffs ,made the UN make new resolutions against them and also made China and Russia distance themselves from Korea.Obama also hasn't paid them off like tough guy Bush did

UN resolutions? I hope they work better than the UN resolutions against IRAQ.

Didn't Clinton also give them some technology we wish they didn't have?
