Unbelievable.

Chris Dodd denies he had anything to do with the AIG bonus exemption, then he admits it and now he's back to denying it blaming the Obama administration.

The corruption by the Democrats in the last 60 days has already exceeded that of the Republicans last 8 years.

The AIG bonuses were an outrage. The upcoing FNM/FRE bonuses even more of one. Times have changed. The Compensation culture of Wall Street no longerr flies, particularly if taxpayers are funding it.

Of course, these bonuses pale into insignificance when compared to the billions of taxpayer money being covertly funnelled to GS, foreign banks, well-connected US banks, hedge funds, etc. Some day the people may wake up and realize they have been robbed to the tune of trillions of dollars, and china will still expect them to pay off the bonds that funded it.
 
The pols have learned their lessons well. Remember the S&L bailouts? Nobody cared. So they upped the ante with a bigger bailout and added the distraction of these bonuses.

Big deal. An eighth of a billion compared to the thousands of billions in bailouts.

Tell ya what, how about I rob you for 10 large? Then I can say "Oh, hey about that bonus large fries I bought from McDonald's, here's $1.75 back to cover it." Are you happy now?

If it's all about perspective, then why were the Republicans taking the stimulus package apart on individual items of well under $1 million (many of which were valid, but that's beside the point)? I guess perspective comes down to a matter of convenience for you, eh?

Do you think you could identify integrity in a line up?
