How many individuals vs institutions trade options?

Anyone know and is there any breakdown. ie do the majority of individuals buy or do they sell
same with institutions.

It seems that no one I have met does anything with options, they just trade or buy stocks.

I believe the majority of individuals make the mistake of buying options
