How Low Can Krugman Go?

Krugman Tweets Trump Might Have ‘Incentives’ to Allow 9/11-Style Attack on Country

Liberal New York Times columnist Paul Krugman suggested Friday that President-elect Donald Trump could have an incentive to allow or launch a 9/11-style attack on the United States once in office.

Krugman wrote that President George W. Bush came into office with questions surrounding his legitimacy that were “dispelled” by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Krugman surmised that gave Trump “interesting incentives.”

Like Bush in 2000, Trump won the Electoral College in 2016 but did not win the popular vote. Bush’s popularity soared in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks that killed thousands of Americans.

Krugman appeared to imply that Trump might be tempted to allow such an attack on the country in order to get the nation to unite behind his presidency.

There have been conspiracy theories from “truthers” ever since the 9/11 attacks that Bush knew about them ahead of time or even ordered them himself to justify going to war in the Middle East.

It's already Bush's fault again? That was fast. When do we get to start blaming Obama? Or does it skip every 8 years. So now it will be all Trump's fault? Man, I need a scorecard. And a bag of peanuts while you're at it.

All Presidents have something to be blamed for. "W" has not cornered the blame market. But he is one of the most, if not the most, blame worthy Presidents in the Nations History by any measure you can come up with. Bushes family had been threatened by Hussein. That is a matter of record. I imagine Cheney was also on the same hit list, but that I don't know for sure. Both Cheney and Bush took office with the intention of liquidating Hussein. They succeeded; but at what cost in lives, property and treasure! When Cheney was directly confronted with this his answer was, "So." If anyone deserves to be water boarded it is Dick Cheney.

Wow! Did not know that. Bush was really bad. Thanks for sharing that.

Thought: Krugman was an economist who was promoted by the left (incorrectly) as being an expert in the field of economics. There is now (rightly) a cloud of illegitimacy over economics ideas. His credibility as an economist has been destroyed (rightly). Now as many entertainers do to stretch out their careers in show biz his has turned to extreme leftist fear mongering. Soon he will be on dancing with the stars.
