Hamas needs to be destroyed. Israel got soft and avoided military casualties these past years of its war with Hamas. They ignored the smuggling tunnels. All the while, Hamas has been building up its weapons stash. Israel has nuclear weapons and will use it if the existence of Israel is ever threatened. Just like Russia, North Korea, China, US, etc. That is why wars should be avoided because each war could be the trigger that launches those nuclear missiles. There is no going back when that happens.
