Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss as a special counsel in his investigation of President Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden, Garland announced on Friday.
The move came as a plea deal struck between Hunter Biden and federal prosecutors fell apart last month and the case appeared headed for trial. In the interim, Hunter Biden entered a not-guilty plea.
Weiss, who was previously appointed by former President Donald Trump, asked Garland to be appointed special counsel on Tuesday and Garland said he concluded it was in the public interest after considering the request.
Chances are pretty good that this would amount to nothing. Not because there is nothing in terms of proof (actually, plenty of it) but, the deep state continues with its two tier system of justice. President Donald Trump is being prosecuted for his handling of classified info while, Joe Biden who was merely a Senator had no right to keep a single page of classified info. Most of the classified info found on Joe Biden was strewn all over his garage. Yet, why has Joe Biden not even investigated and charged? If they are investigating Joe Biden it is at a very slow, snail pace and at this rate, it will be buried and forgotten, and they will act dumb and ask, what investigation after sweeping it under the rug? Disgusting as hell and sometimes, I wonder if the US were under Russia or China, would Putin or Xi Ping have tolerated all these shenanigans? All guilty parties probably, would have been rounded up and all charged and all thrown in jail as it should be!

Lowell botched an attempted plea deal in the gun case. It blew up when the judge caught him being slimy and hiding language in the back of the plea agreement. Then instead of trying for a revised plea deal, they go to trial. Whereupon Hunter immediately got slaughtered and was found guilty.
Then we have this current scenario. Despite all the chit chat about this Alford plea- which failed- and all of that Hunter basically appeared before the court and ended out pleading guilty- period. His attorney did not extract/achieve a single benefit for his client. NOTHING. He actually made things worse. If he had just plead guilty in a direct and sincere manner it would help him at sentencing because admitting to your guilt in a contrite manner is one of the elements of the sentencing guidelines that the court is allowed to consider. But no, instead he fucks around with an Alford plea first, telling the court that he was willing to plead guilty even though he did not believe he was.
Nevertheless, the big pay days for Abbe Lowell keep on coming.

Joe is a slimy son of a bitch too. The reality is that- just like Hunter- Joe, his sister Valerie, and brother Jim, also have millions in unpaid taxes on foreign payments to them. One of the reasons why Hunter plead guilty is so that they would not be cross-examined in his trial. The government would counter his "poor addict" defense by showing that he was part of an organized scheme to keep money flowing with Joe as the brand.
